LUWI

Luwi is located deep within Zambia’s, South Luangwa National Park. With no other camps or people for miles around, this tranquil location gives real meaning to the definition of a wilderness camp.

OVERVIEW

Alongside the Luwi River and nestled in a grove of ancient mahogony trees, Luwi is a simple camp that leaves a big impact on those who stay.

Its peaceful location means that varied wildlife wander in to camp. Animal spotting can be enjoyed from the terrace of your tented suite.

Luwi is a Seasonal camp that operates between 20 May – 31 October

Accommodation

The five Tented suites are simply furnished, all en-suite with their own private terrace. They are fully solar powered.

Facilities

A small bar and lounge area. Meals are normally served al fresco

Activities

Day and night drives are available and walking is a popular way to explore the area. A hide overlooking the lagoon is the perfect spot to sit and watch the wildlife come to you. For the adventurous we recommend booking a unique sleepout experience under the stars.
