Klein’s Camp in Northern Tanzania is perched on the edge of the Kuka Hills, which straddle the north eastern border of the Serengeti National Park. Set in a 10 000 hectare (24 500 acre) wilderness concession overlooking wooded hillsides, rolling grasslands, marshes and forested riverbanks, the camp’s spectacular location is in a vital corridor linking the Serengeti and Masai Mara in Kenya. Elephant are more common here than elsewhere in the Serengeti and, depending on the rains, the migration passes through the area each year in July/August and returns October/November.
