Not only is this a great spot to base yourself for exploring the Cape Winelands, there is so much going on that you can get a real feel for this historical and scenic part of South Africa.

The Accommodation

The accommodation is set in a village style and the rooms are clustered around six courtyards with lawn and pedestrianised pathways between each courtyard has it’s own pool. There are 80 rooms in total , spacious and comfortable with simple decor. Facilities

There are a choice of dining options including the hotels main restaurant, Spier Farm cafe and Vadas smokehouse and bakery. Picnic baskets can be made up and enjoyed in the spacious grounds. The Spier spa is open daily until 7pm. For families the kids clubhouse is the perfect base for fun activities for children under 12 .

Activities

Outdoor activities abound from walks, runs, cycle rides, segway tours and eagle encounters. Additionally you can try some of Spiers wines in the tasting room, visit the craft market, Spiers art collection, check out the spa and if you’re particularly dedicated make use of the gym!
