UMKUMBE SAFARI LODGE

Umkumbe has a feel of being right in the bush and wildlife can often be spotted passing by camp, so relax by the pool, or have a drink and watch the world of safari pass you by.

The Accommodation

There are just 10 chalets/rooms in this intimate lodge, most with their own small verandah to take in the views of the river or small plains area with waterhole. All roms are en-suite, air conditioned with full electricity.

Facilities

There is a roomy lounge area for relaxing, an outdoor seating area with a tea and coffee station, two dining areas and fully stocked bar, a swimming pool and small gym. The lodge does offer payable wifi between 07.00-16.00 although can’t be guaranteed.

Activities

This is a great spot for safaris. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered daily, plus the option to switch your morning safari for a guided game walk.
