This unique Gorilla trekking safari is a 7 night, three camp itinerary visiting the remote interior rain forest national park of Odzala-Kokoua in the heart of the Congo Basin in the Republic of Congo.
Your safari starts in Brazzavile, Republic of Congo, when you are collected for your flight to Ngaga Camp a exhilirating and once in a lifetime experience tracking the gorilla.
Continuing through the park your next stop is Lango Camp. Whilst here you get the opportunity to explore this fascinating area and its nature. Activities mostly focus on walking or even the chance to take a kayak trip.
Your final accommodation is Mboko Camp with the river being your main focus. River cruises and a chance to swim in the Likeni River are popular.
Light aircraft transfer to Odzala airstrip for your safari transfer to Ngaga Camp for a three night stay.
DAY 2 & 3
Morning gorilla tracking with a chance to relax in the afternoon or perhaps forest walk to search for some of the diverse birdlife. On day 3 enjoy some time with the gorilla research team and the chance to take part in a night walk to look for the forests nocturnal wildlife.
Road transfer through Mbomo village and the Odzala-Kokoua National park to Lango Camp for a two night stay.
Guided morning walk through the bai and an afternoon forest walk.
DAY 6 & 7
After a morning walk and scenic breakfast. Leave Lango via a game drive transfer in time for lunch at Mboko Camp.
River activities and guided walks are popular at Mboko.
After breakfast catch your flight from Odzala back to Brazzaville for your onward travel arrangements
