MOKUTI LODGE

Mokuti Lodge is a large lodge situated just outside the Von Lindequist gate of the Etosha National Park and combines unique African charm with comfort and a touch of luxury. The Etosha is Namibia’s premier wildlife destination and one of Africa’s largest game reserves. It is also home to large herds of wildlife that stream into the waterholes during the dry months.

OVERVIEW

The accommodation at Mokuti comprises ninety double/twin rooms, eight luxury chalets and eight family units. Each of the units are set under a cool thatch and are equipped with en-suite bathroom, air- conditioning and ceiling fan, telephone, fridge, hairdryer, safety deposit facilities and satellite TV. Facilities include a boma, restaurant, lounge, bar and pool.

Dinner is served nightly in the a-la-carte restaurant, but guests also have a choice of dinner from the carvery buffet or dinner in the boma.

Activities offered by Mokuti include guided game drives into the Etosha, self guided walking trails or mountain bikes which are available for the more energetic. Being so close to the Etosha, Mokuti is excellent for those wishing to self-drive in the Etosha and is a great, and relatively inexpensive, property to stay at for one or two nights, prior to going deeper into the Etosha.
