Andersson’s Camp situated on the edge of the Etosha National Park in northern Namibia is a family camp with a sensational waterhole, and offers an excellent opportunity of sighting some of Ongava’s famous white and black rhino, amongst a plethora of other wildlife.
OVERVIEW
Accommodation at this former farmstead has been tastefully rebuilt to modern-day standards and offer twenty en-suite tented rooms (including two family units). The tents are a clever mix of stone cladding, canvas and wood, with a small veranda that is an extension of the elevated wooden decks on which the tents are constructed.
The old farmhouse now forms the main area of Andersson’s, from which the tents radiate into the secluded mopane woodlands that provides the needed shade from the heat of a Namibian summer.
Andersson’s Camp’s close proximity to Etosha, Namibia’s premier wildlife destination and one of Africa’s largest game reserves, is ideal for full-day self-drives or guided drives in open-top 4×4 safari vehicles where visitors are likely to see large herds of wildlife that stream into the waterholes during the dry months, as well as breathtaking views of the seemingly endless salt flats.
