The accommodation at Azura Benguerra, built of local materials by local craftsmen, comprises just sixteen villas, each with their own private pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. The villas blend contemporary chic with traditional and beautifully hand carved Mozambican furnishings and artwork beneath a thatched roof. Each villa is just yards from the beach, yet designed with seclusion uppermost. Guests can wander to the pristine beach and into the alluring azure sea or simply relax on a daybed in the beach-side sala, whilst your local Mozambican butler serves you a cocktail as the sun sets before dining in private on your villa deck.
