KU CHAWE INN (ZOMBA)

Ku Chawe offers a total of thirty-seven rooms comprising ten Superior Rooms, twenty- two Deluxe Rooms, four Hillside Deluxe Rooms and one Hillside Suite. All the rooms at KuChawe are en-suite, air-conditioned and have digital satellite television, international direct dialing, Wi-Fi internet, and e-mail facilities.

The Zomba Plateau top is criss-crossed by streams and there are spectacular waterfalls and lakes. There are driveable tracks around the top of the plateau from which the views are so breathtaking that they were described in colonial times as “the best in the British Empire”. Whether walking or driving, there is always something to see. Wildlife includes leopards, although sightings are rare. More in evidence are giant butterflies and, on the lower slopes, baboons. Birdlife includes the long-crested eagle and the augur buzzard.
