ANGAMA MARA

An owner run lodge the philosophy of Angama is a gentle safari experience. Ideally located only 10 minutes from the famous Mara triangle, the game viewing opportunities are superb. However, a stay here isn’t about rushing around in a safari vehicle it’s a far more relaxed experience. There is flexibility for you to dictate how busy your schedule is whilst enjoying one of the most iconic game reserves in Africa.

Accommodation

2 separate camps each with 15 large tented suites. Each suite offers a combination of classic safari tent with an 11-metre wide floor to ceiling glass front. This guarantees every guest the best possible view.

Polished wood floors, a bathroom with double basins, a separate toilet and a shower complete the look. Also inside you can find a drinks cabinet with personal bar and safe, writing desk with ample charging points. For techies a tablet with guest information and WiFi are available.

Facilities

There are no defined lounge or dining areas but a hugely impressive room, wrapped in glass doors on different levels. All surrounded by a large deck there is ample space to relax.

An infinity pool, a fitness room and a shop are also easily accessible on-site. Food is simple and delicious and focuses on local produce.

Activities

Traditional game drives with a twist, times and experiences aren’t set, so are designed to fit in with guest preferred experiences. Guided walks, visits to the local community, hot air balloons can also be arranged.
