Ol Pejeta Safari Cottages

Located in the Ol Pejeta conservancy, in the Laikipia region these homely cottages, give a feeling of being fully immersed in the area rather than just a guest for a few days. The cottages are tucked away amongst the acacias along the line of the river. You get a true appreciation of the tranquillity of this wilderness area.

The accommodation

There are two 1 bedroom and two 2 bedrooms cottages located in the grounds. Each spacious cottage has its own private guide and vehicle, waiter and room attendant. So everything is very much set to your schedule from activities to meal times.

Each cottage has an eco-friendly power system to allow you to charge cameras and phones. Hot and cold running water and a collection of natural toiletries, soft fluffy towels and comfortable bathrobes.

Facilities

The focus is very much about your private cottage, you are completely self-contained, with own lounge and dining area and veranda to relax.

Activities

Of course, the focus is on the wildlife and the game drive schedule is designed to fit around what you want to do. You can head out for a dawn drive, head out all day, go out for a sundowner drive just discuss with your private guide.

You can also go for night drives, game walks, visit the endangered species boma in the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, home to rhinos, grevy’s zebra and Jacksons hartebeest. Sweetwaters Chimpanzee sanctuary is also a short drive away.
