THE MAJI

Located at the Northern end of Diani beach, despite only having 15 rooms and suites The Maji boasts a team of 60 staff. Emphasis is on discreet service and laid back luxury. If you are used to larger hotels, then initially you may be somewhat thrown by the lack of structure. But you soon become accustomed to and appreciate the flexibility of choosing your own mealtimes, and making your daily plans when you get up in the morning.

Accommodation

Made up of 15 unique rooms and suites that are individually styled and furnished. They have a mix of either garden or pool view.

These include a Single Garden View room, 4 Superior Garden View and 4 Deluxe Ocean View rooms which of course have the added bonus of a view of the sea from their balcony, they also have a little more room.

Finally the suites, are of course the most spacious. There are 2 Garden Suites, 1 Jacuzzi Suite and 3 Ocean Suites with an impressive 65m2.

All rooms and suites are en-suite and have air conditioning, T.V most with satellite, wifi, mini bar, tea & coffee facilities, safe and hairdryer. Selected rooms also have a DVD player.

Facilities

For something different the swimming pool really stands out as it starts in the main house before running like a moat, meandering around the house, until it turns into a more traditional pool complete with Jacuzzi, and in pool bar stools next to the bar.

The Maji Moto Bar and hotels restaurant are a main focal point, serving a wide variety of cuisines and drinks and cocktails. Dining is very flexible with no set meal times and if you would rather eat in the gardens, by the pool, on the balcony in your room it is completely your choice.

A small but well equipped spa,  boutique and a mini gym for guests can also be found.

Activities

There are many activities in the Diani area and the hotel are happy to help make arrangements. These include diving, windsurfing, kitesurfing, SUPs, Jet skis, yoga, golf and a number of excursions.
