WHERE TO GO
Kenya leaves you spoilt for choice when planning a trip. Your Kenya safari experience can focus on the popular main reserves or take you into wilderness areas and private lodges where you will hardly see another soul.
When it comes to the best known then, of course, the Masai Mara is number one. An itinerary would generally include the Masai Mara or one of the surrounding private concessions and then also potentially include the addition of Samburu, Amboseli, The Rift Valley or Laikipia with the option of a relaxing stay on the stunning Indian Ocean coastline.
Of course, Kenya also combines well with a number of adjacent countries, offering a host of experiences and possible combinations. We tailor itineraries according to your interests and budget.
We have a great selection of sample Kenya Safari itineraries below that we have created to provide you with some inspiration for a fantastic holiday. These itineraries can be amended to suit your requirements, please get in touch to discuss your bespoke safari through the contact button below.

WHEN TO VISIT KENYA
The Seasons are fairly predictable in Kenya, although of course exact dates are never set. The end of April, through May, is the rainy season, many camps close for renovation over this period.
Any other time, feel free to travel. November/December is short rains but as the name suggests it is not as sustained or restrictive as May. It can still be a good time to travel, as the rains bring new life to the National Parks, both with vegetation and wildlife.
July-October is classed as peak season, it is hot and dry and game viewing is exceptional as the herds of wildebeest swell as they cross into the Masai Mara from the Serengeti as part of the great migration. If this is on your bucket list then it is the time to travel. If you would prefer fewer vehicles and a quieter safari experience then we would suggest you avoid travelling between these months or chat with us about the best locations.
