The Desert Dune Safari in Namibia is a 9 night / 10 day fully escorted safari that takes in the major scenic areas including Sossusvlei, Palmwag and the world-famous Skeleton Coast.
Your adventure begins from Windhoek with a drive to Kulala Desert Lodge in Sossusvlei for a two night stay. Home to the bid dunes, Sossusvlei is a photographers dream location, with the contrast of the desert and the azure blue sky. The light is incredible.
From there you cross the Namib-Naukluft Desert by light aircraft to Swakopmund on the Atlantic Coast for a two night stay at the Hansa Hotel – there much to do but a dolphin cruise out of Walvis Bay is highly recommended.
You now run up the Skeleton Coast to Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp for a two night stay, via an overnight at Terrace Bay. The Skeleton Coast is a must visit when in Namibia with its beached ships, whale skeletons and the chance to see desert adapted wildlife such as elephants, giraffe and lion.
Your tour finishes with two nights at Desert Rhino Camp in the Palmwag concession, where you’ll have the chance to track rhino on foot, before you fly back to Windhoek.
