Night Game Drives
Chitabe Lediba Camp, in the Okavango Delta region of northern Botswana, border the southern part of Moremi Game Reserve in the south-east of the Okavango Delta, Botswana. The concession in which both Chitabe Lediba (and its larger sister camp, Chitabe, sit) consists of 70,000 acres of a wide range of habitats in the Okavango Delta. From savannah to tree-filled islands and floodplains, a luxury safari at Chitabe Lediba gives you an amazing wildlife experience.
Chitabe Lediba offers an intimate experience and is ideal for small groups or families, with its two family units each having adjoining bedrooms and en-suite bathrooms. All five spacious tents are built on raised decks and comprise en-suite bathrooms and outdoor showers. The decks to the front of the tents have panoramic views of the Okavango Delta. The guest areas at Chitabe Lediba has a dining area, lounge and pool have a view over the small lediba (a former lagoon but now a waterhols), allowing guests to sit back in comfort and see what comes to them!
Activities include both morning and afternoon game drives in open top 4×4 safari vehicles and allows guests to explore the breathtaking variety of landscapes, habitats and wildlife within the Chitabe Concession. Afternoon drives usually return after dark in the hopes of seeing some of the nocturnal animals of the Okavango Delta: such as genet, civet, serval, porcupine and, occasionally, the aardwolf.
