For those guests who are looking for some exclusivity, The lodge also has four suites, each with a plunge pool and a separate lounge area.
Well-trained guides conduct dawn and dusk game drives in open sided 4×4 vehicles
ensuring maximum coverage of Chobe National Park’s spectacular scenery and diverse wildlife. Meanwhile, riverside game viewing is conducted in small agile boats. Sunset cruises are offered in the lodge’s double-decker river cruiser, the Mosi-oa-Tunya (the “smoke that thunders”).
Chobe’s wildlife roams in abundance and diversity and is home to perhaps the largest concentration of elephant in Africa. During the dry season these large herds, as well as vast herds of buffalo, congregate along the fertile flood plains of the Chobe River where they come to graze and drink. Elephants are never more relaxed than when playing in the water. Lion, wild dog, puku, red lechwe, sable, giraffe and roan antelope are often sighted in the area.
