SANDIBE

Sandibe is set on the edge of one of the Okavango’s permanent water channels under a canopy of wild palms and fig leaves, and comprises twelve safari units that blend effortlessly into the leafy surroundings. The units are raised on decks, allowing for elevated panoramic views and consist of an en-suite bedroom with an outdoor shower. The main guest area has a swimming pool in which to relax in the heat of the day, a lounge and dining area, a safari shop and a gym.

The area that surrounds Sandibe Okavango Safari Lodge is home to a large number of species, including many predators, as well as many that are adapted to the semi-aquatic lifestyle, such as the red lechwe and shy sitatunga. Prides of lion as well as cheetah, leopard and African wild dog may be seen, whilst pods of hippo hide in the deeper water.
