LITTLE VUMBURA CAMP

Each of the beautifully appointed six tented rooms offer large and airy accommodation and have en-suite facilities including an outside shower. The main camp area offers its guests a plunge pool and a quiet area overlooking the floodplains to relax or to see what is around, whilst a deck for studying the night sky is adjacent to the dining area.

As Little Vumbura lies close to the permanent channels of the Okavango Delta, water-based activities form a key part of the game viewing activities all year round with mokoros traversing the floodplains under the expert guidance of your guide and poler. Land based activities are offered in open, especially adapted 4×4 vehicles which allow guests to get close to animals in the savannah areas, whilst walks are available on request, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy Africa at a more gentle pace. Game viewing is consistently good with lion, leopard, elephant, sable and buffalo along with abundant plains game providing an excellent wildlife experience.
