KWETSANI CAMP

The camp consists of five comfortably furnished tented chalets offering en-suite accommodation which is open and airy and blends in with its surroundings. The main guest area of the camp comprises a dining room, lounge and drinks area constructed under a large, cool thatched roof with open views of the surrounding floodplains on which red lechwe, wildebeest and other plains game are often seen. There is also a communal pool in which to cool down during the heat of the day.

The area surrounding Kwetsani offers excellent land and water game viewing activities dependent on the annual flood levels within the Okavango Delta. Game drives, as well as breathtaking wildlife viewing by mokoro are on offer. There are also two platform game viewing hides in the concession.

Lion, leopard, wild dog, cheetah, tsessebe and red lechwe are among the major game attractions at Kwetsani Camp, while hippo, sitatunga antelope and crocodile reside in the deeper, permanently lily-filled lagoons of the area. Nocturnal animals such as porcupine, aardwolf, serval, spotted genet are occasionally seen on the way back from sun-downers.
