SAVUTE SAFARI LODGE

The lodges offers luxurious and  spacious thatch and timber rooms featuring an open plan bedroom with en-suite bathroom and lounge area. Private wooden viewing decks span the entire width of each room, while glass sliding doors allow natural light to flood in. Guests can relax at the swimming pool deck, watching animals as they make their way down to the Savute Channel. Other facilities include the ground floor lounge and cocktail bar, and a first floor wildlife reference library tucked under the eaves of the thatch and timber main building.

Activities include morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many varied ecosystems that Savute and greater Chobe National Park’s area encompasses. The game viewing is phenomenal with the area home to the rare roan antelope, the endangered African wild dog, plus leopards, cheetahs and large herds zebra, tsessebe and wildebeest. Savute is also well known for its incredible concentration of lions.
