ZAMBEZI QUEEN

Moving along the banks of the great Chobe River, the Zambezi Queen is a 42-metre long luxury houseboat. This is a stylish and tranquil way to explore the river and to get a glimpse of the plentiful animal and birdlife.

Accommodation

There are 14 suites in all including 2 Master Suites. Of these 14 suites 2 are triple allowing for a 3rd adult or child to stay in an additional bed.

All of the suites offer private balconies, air conditioning and a floor standing fan. As well as a safe, hairdryer, gowns and slippers and of course and en-suite bathroom with shower including all bathroom amenities.

Facilities

On the top deck is the main living space you will find the guest dining area, bar, a rear viewing deck, cosy lounge space and a large front deck with sun loungers and a small plunge pool. Additionally on the lower deck is where the main boarding area is situated and is also home to a gift shop.

Activities

Guided river safari’s by motorised tender boat allow you a close up of all the animal life that comes to the riverbank. As well as some amazing birdlife such as the African Fish Eagle. It is also possible to do a cultural village tour with a chance for shopping and there is also fishing on offer on a catch and release basis.

Please note that the boat operates on A Monday, Wednesday (2 night departure) and Friday (3 night departure)

Despite access being from Kasane in Botswana, you will also need to go through Namibia entry formalities as you cross the river and then join the boat.
