This national park is a mix of wetlands, forest, floodplains, and lagoons. It’s located near the southern coast, which means it experiences the dry season from mid-May until mid-October. This might be a good time to visit if you want to stay dry. However, the park and river may be more lively and bright during the rainy season.
While the weather in the Congo can often be rainy and hot, this contributes to the vibrancy of the landscape. There is plenty to see from national parks to cultural villages, and all of it is wonderful no matter what time of year you decide to visit.
