Situated on the Kalama Conservancy, which borders Samburu National Reserve. Saruni is perched on an outcrop with specatular views over Kenya’s Northern Frontier District and Mount Kenya in the far distance.
This is a small and intimate eco friendly camp but it is by no means basic, with luxurious touches evident throughout the private villas.
Accommodation
6 spacious and open Eco villas, 2 of which are suitable for families. Of course each villa has spectacular views. They are very private with zip fronted canvas, large lounge areas, indoor baths and outdoor showers.
Facilities
Boasting commanding views there is a dining and lounge area and two infinity
pools. There is also a Samburu Wellbeing Space. At ground level adjacent to camp is a photographic hide right alongside a waterhole offering fantastic opportunities to capture the perfect image.
Activities
Local Samburu guides are with you throughout your stay. You can enjoy day and night game drives, bush walks, birdwatching and stargazing. Additional excursions including a Mount Ololokwe hike and a visit to the Samburu caves with ancient rock art can also be arranged. As well as local community visits
